About Me

Born and raised in Saskatoon, I made my way to Alberta in 2003 to go to school at Grant MacEwan College.  I then joined the PGA of Canada in the spring of 2004, by winning my Playability Test in Melfort, Saskatchewan.  Two years later, I received my Diploma and Certificate in Professional Golf Management from Grant MacEwan in 2006.  In 2007, I became a Class A member of the PGA of Canada.

During my career I have worked at several golf facilities including the Waskesiu Golf Course in Saskatchewan, the Willows Golf and Country Club in Saskatoon, the Hinton Golf Club, Golf Town in both Edmonton and Calgary, the Royal Mayfair Golf Club, and currently the Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club.  I’m currently in my first season at the Garrison where I hold the position of Head Professional.

Some professional achievements I have attained recently is authoring, designing and publishing the Royal Mayfair iPhone App to the Apple App Store in late 2010.  You can find it here in the App Store!!  I was also a Finalist for PGA of Alberta Assistant of the Year in 2011 and 2012.

During my many travels around Saskatchewan and Alberta, I have gained a great deal of experience in all types of golf settings from semi-resort, to a tournament course, to a rural golf course, to a retail giant, and a private club.  All these experiences make me a well rounded professional with experience helping people from all walks of life.
